Recipe for Crema Pasticcera (Pastry Cream)

Ingredients:

4 egg yolks

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons starch

2 cups milk of your choice

Desired amount of orange peel


Directions:

Beat the egg yolks, sugar, and starch almost to a boil. Heat the milk and orange peel mixture. Take orange peel out, and discard, when heated. Pour the orange milk into the egg mixture, and mix until the cream is thick.
